Durango Pizza is owned by Durango natives Ken Trujillo and his nephew Marco Lucero. Their families have lived in Durango for generations. Durango Pizza previously operated under another name. The name and logo was changed to better reflect our family history, our dedication to our community and as an ode to the town we love.

The bear is inspired by Marco’s daughter, Alanna. At age 5, Alanna required a heart transplant. Alanna’s nickname is Alanna Bear as she loves bears. We are profoundly grateful for the support of the Durango community during this difficult time. We are thrilled that five years later Alanna is well and thriving. Read about Alanna’s story. Alanna

The font in the logo reflects our love of schools, sports and the role we play in feeding schools, students, teams and families in our community.
